Well completion

1) the activities and methods of preparing a well for the production of oil and gas or for other purposes, such as injection.

2) the method by which one or more flow paths for hydrocarbons are established between the reservoir and the surface. The method of well completion used by the operator depends on the individual characteristics of the producing formation or formations. These techniques include open-hole completions, sand exclusion completions, tubing-less completions, multiple completions, and miniaturized completions.
