Formation fluids

Any fluids present within any spaces of a formation, which can include, but is not limited to the faults, fractures, vugs, pores, or caverns of a formation. Definition stands whether or not these fluids were injected therein or naturally formed. The definition still holds regardless of the physical state, which may be gases or liquids, including a variety of types such as saline or fresh water, hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide, hydrocarbons, etc.
