A mechanical slope indicator that consists of a ball rolling on a calibrated surface within a liquid filled enclosure that gives a visual indication of the verticality of the wellhead equipment. These are normally fitted to well heads, LMRPs and BOP stacks to allow the ROV to monitor the angles of the equipment components.
