Lease

1) a legal document executed between a landowner, as lessor, and a company or individual, as lessee, that grants the right to exploit the premises for minerals or other products; the instrument that creates a leasehold or working interest in minerals.

2) the area where production wells, stock tanks, separators, LACT units, and other production equipment are located.
